In 2024, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) celebrates its 75^th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in its mission to ensure peace and security for its 32 Allies and projecting security together with its partners. 

As we approach the Washington DC Summit on July 9-11, this High-Level Conference offers a prime opportunity to look ahead and delve into strategies for the future. 

How can NATO maintain unity and reinforce its role as the top international security provider? This involves strengthening deterrence, upgrading defence industries and technologies, defining its role, improving cooperation, and incorporating Women, Peace, and Security policies. 

How can NATO expand partnerships in the Southern Region to project stability while adopting a comprehensive 360-degree approach, countering Russia’s encroachments, and securing freedom of navigation in the Indian Ocean within a broader Indo-Pacific strategy? 

Our two panels will address these and other topics, focussing on NATO’s upcoming political challenges and partnership initiatives.
